Zion sticker
In the design I have captured one of Zions most famous mountain river views. Framed by paintbrush and pickily pear cactus along with western columbine flowers. To bring the piece together I chose an archway frame including the sacred Zia symbol of the four directions. Rounding the border are the Ute and Hopi tribes basket weaving designs.
I wanted to pay an homage to the indigenous peoples of this beautiful area. I will be donating 20% of the profits of the stickers and prints of this design to both of the local tribes and the Zia Pueblo youth fund. I create this artwork in advocacy for indigenous tribes of areas I visit and am inspired by. Although I am not of indigenous decent, I believe its important to show representation for the land that we live and play on. This is my way of giving back to the true land owners and exposing non-indigenous peoples to the many traditional art forms of the area
4x4 inches and a satin matte finish
